Developed during the middle ages in Europe, elaborately designed hardwood floors were painstakingly crafted for castles, monasteries, and other significant buildings. Nineteenth century European immigrants brought the woodworking skills needed to produce these hardwood floors for our American homes.Material Specifications:
All of the flooring designs are manufactured with a wear layer of select hardwood.
Parquet is 5/16" thick with square cut (butt joint) edges. Medallions and borders can be supplied in any thickness you specify.
Borders, medallions, and parquets are assembled at the factory ready for glue-down installation and finishing at the job-site.
All borders and medallions can be pre-finished before installation.
